which can be run as a standalone app ( so no linking restrictions - and
users can download it even if it is ms research lisenced ) which sends osc
messages
it is possible to modify nasal script
http://code.google.com/p/linux-track/source/browse/trunk/doc/fgfs/Nasal/LinuxTrack/linuxtrack.nas
to accept osc messages

and then FlightGear has a good free head tracking with kinect ( which is
possible to download and use )
