I am a RedHat 7.3 user and I want to become a FlightGear developer, but ..
I downloaded Metakit-2.4.7 from the autors' website and I installed it..
I compiled SimGear 0.2.0 too..
but when I try to compile FlightGear 0.8.0 I get the following error:
checking mk4.h usability... yes
checking mk4.h presence... yes
checking for mk4.h... yes
checking for metakit 2.4.3 or newer... wrong version
configure: error: Install metakit 2.4.3 or later first...
of course I have the version 2.4.7 !!
I got rpms for the version 2.4.5 but installing then neither SimGear want to
get compiled :(
What's wrong !?
why SimGear works fine with Metakit-2.4.7 and FlightGear does not ?
