That makes sense -- it would put it on the far side from the rest of
the airport and about 33% of the way down the runway.  That's about
where I put it in the default.ils.gz I committed a little while ago.

Now, how should the glidescope behave on the backcourse?  Right now,
it gives a glidepath that's just a little high (because the GS
transmitter is too far down the runway).  That's probably wrong.

As soon as I've managed to accumulate the required 50 hours PIC
cross-country I'm going to start work on my instrument rating -- what
better use to make of a Canadian winter?  Until then, I'll have to
rely on advice from others with real-world IFR experience.

Can anyone tell me what the GS *should* do on a BC approach?
