If I had to guess, I would say this sounds like a driver problem. > The freeze does not occurs while flying, and the textures, panels > etc. appear correct. Or perhaps consumes more texture resources? Or it could be quite a few other things. > If any FG user a solution for this problem, please let me know... > As it is, it limits my use of the flightsim because I have to keep > rebooting the machine after using it. I would look for a DRI / driver solution. In Unix, there is no way a user space app should be able to hang or crash the machine. If this happens it almost certainly has to be a driver or OS (or hardware) level problem. Since FG runs fine on other linux systems with different drivers, I would guess this is either a driver/dri problem or perhaps a hardware problem. > This way it is worse than M$ Windows :-( These kinds of problems are extremely frustrating on any platform. :-( Regards, Curt. -- Curtis Olson IVLab / HumanFIRST Program FlightGear Project Twin Cities [EMAIL PROTECTED] [EMAIL PROTECTED] Minnesota http://www.menet.umn.edu/~curt http://www.flightgear.org _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users
