All that follows is done on Windows 98SE.
I presume that you got Flightgear to work with the windows binaries.
See my other post about having all of Cygwin installed.I presume you
followed the instructions about installing it in the getting started manual.
Assuming you have done all the things right. What do you see when you start
Cygwin.
When I start Cygwin I am in My innis directory which is inside the Home folder
in Cygwin. What I see is [EMAIL PROTECTED] followed by a (~).The letters are in green
and the (~)is an orange/brown.
Now when I do (dir) I get Flightgear and source. The two directories that are
inside my innis folder.By doing CD flightgear I am in the Flightgear directory
which has Plib Simgear and source directories which have been untarred ready
to be compiled.
Because I am in a subdirectory of Cygwin to get back to the root directory
I do CD .. until I am in the root.
HTH
If not repost and tell me what you see when you first launch Cygwin before you
even touch a Key.

Still no luck...Getting same error bash. What about setting the path in the
envirommetal variables system properties? I'm supposed to set it under user
variables, right? In Windows format, I see :C:/Cygwin/bin/...ect. Why wont
Cygwin recognize it?
Signed getting discouraged.
