I guess that different A/C have different techniques for landing.Lets
not forget that most medium to large transport A/C deploy spoilers
as soon as the main wheels are on the ground to destroy any lift
that the wings maybe generating.
Also navy pilots tend to land rather heavy.When I ask a navy pilot
why they put then down so heavy he said, well on a carrier if you
dont put then down heavy you might find yourself landing two
decks below the right one.
