Even Tux Racer has slowed to a crawl! Always worked just fine previously.

Please post/attach the following file /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
There should be references to the necessary 3D accelerator
options, of course you also will need to have the required
libraries.
Additionally, it might be useful if you could log all X11-output
during startup to a separate file and include this as well.
The standard log file for XFree should be at /var/log/XFree86.0.log for
RedHat systems, so please also make sure to check this for specific
error messages or simply include it.
