In piston engine aircraft your are experiencing the effect of the propeller's 
torque forcing the airframe to turn.

You may also find that you have a cross-wind (wind blowing at an angle in 
relation to the direction of travel) causing a 'weather-cocking' effect as 
the airframe tries to head into its natural aerodynamic flow.
