Are you following the full start procedure? Begin by reading the Pilot's Notes in ../Aircraft/Spitfire. I've just checked - it starts OK.

Vivian maybe it's the GLUT/magnetos issue that bit me a while back.
What is the win32 build using? SDL or GLUT?
