Maps? None. But you probably mean scenery tiles. Only *parts* of w130n30 are
in the base package. You may want to install the rest of w130n30, too.
Here it is a good idea to put it into a separate directory, let's say
$FG_ROOT/WorldScenery/Terrain/ and to add this path to $FG_SCENERY:

 export FG_SCENERY=$FG_ROOT/Scenery:$FG_ROOT/WorldScenery
 # note: the scenery is in a Terrain/ subdir, but this is used automatically

Hi Franz,

have not yet run your script but I'll sure do it this evening. Anyway, yesterday I've followed your tip, I've run

Map --atlas=/usr/local/share/FlightGear/Atlas

and it made 3 little images filled with random colours... no maps created. So I've put a scenery into Scenery directory and re-run Map with same option and it has created 20-30 images that are, frame by frame, the view from the "cockpit view". And when I start Atlas I see the view from the cockpit as background of Atlas!

I've taken a deeper look to your script and I've seen you pass also --lon e --lat to Map. Could it be about that?

tnx
