but I know that not everybody likes this target. I agree, /usr/local/FlightGear
isn't wrong. Just a bad choice (IMHO :-).
I would qualify that by saying that most people will want to just use --prefix=/usr/local. Those that would best be served with a different location ... you already know who you are and why that is. If you aren't sure, then please just use --prefix=/usr/local. :-)
