I'm afraid that's not going to work with an NVidia driver unless I'm missing something... You should do some googling about enabling DRI for X for that chipset - I found a few things in a (very) quick search which may suggest it is possible, although how current or relevant they were I really haven't the time to check as I'm rushing out the door at the moment. If you want a "least hassle" solution, I'd personally buy a cheap NVidia card and use that; I have an MX420 which gives me very decent frame rates with an Athlon1900+ and was going free!
