Okay, so I figure I'd try the Helo. I checked Google, I checked FGFS
docs, I checked various forums (but not all), and I checked Aircraft
bo105 directories; I can't find any docs regarding controls and/or tips
for flying the Helo.
I've figured out blade pitch (PageUp/PageDown) and of course tail rotor
is Ins/Enter on the keypad and the stick x & y axis. Is that it?
Anything out there for us novices?
Developers: I promissed a bug so here it is. I was trying to land back
at the field (I'm having a hell of a time trying to figure out how to
slow down quickly - all part of the fun I guess) and I crashed. No
biggie. [BTW: Way Cool Damage routines, kudo's to the designer!]
The bug comes in when I went to replay my last 120 seconds or so. It
seems the replay (one of the chase views) wanted to replay with the
damaged craft. The flight path was correct but no sound and no spinning
rotor. Looked kinda wierd watching this helo with bent static rotors
and a crumpled tail coming in for a landing. - Thought you'd like to
know since you probably know how to fly the damn thing, and haven't run
accross this situation ;-)
