Has anybody here visited one of these places?:

I just passed by one store at the Mall of America (after closing time), and was curious what software they use.

Hey, what are you doing in Minneapolis without stopping by to say hi? :-) I've been by their place before they moved to the mall of america. We just looked and didn't fly. These days I try to avoid the MOA (and most malls for that matter) :-) as much as possble, plus it's at least a 45 minute drive for me when traffic cooperates.

I *think* they use some sort of Mac F-18 Hornet simulation software. I suspect they may have begged the software company to build in some hardware hooks for their needs? The graphics are fine, but nothing spectactular by today's standards. I think they use elumins dome displays for their out-the-window view.

It's a pretty neat setup actually once you add the cockpit, the flight suit, the immersive visuals, a bit of motion, etc.

Curt.
