D`oh, first thing I did was calibrate. For some reason, I assumed that the 
settings would automagically be saved (well it _was_ automagically 
detected :).

I stuck the jscal -s line in /etc/joystick/freedom, and included it from a 
hotplug script though, as it's a usb device, and I'd like to actually be able 
to hotplug it :)
