As a rule, I always check and update audio & video drivers first. You should do this and see if there is any resultant change.
Your card is an eVGA card and you can get the latest driver here ftp://evga.com/7772XP2K.exe NVIDIA has a one-size-fits all driver for the chipset which you can get here http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_77.72.html . It is the same version. I do not know if the eVGA driver has more features than the standalone NVIDIA or if it is the other way around. As a general rule, you should uninstall the existing video driver from Add/Remove Programs, and restart the PC before installing the new driver. What do you have for audio? Is it an integrated sound chip? Yes - your system should be able to run FG. Does the video card have any onboard memory? Does it have any hardware acceleration? There may be some settings you can experiment with in the card properties. Right click on the desktop, choose Properties, then Settings, then click the Advanced button. Sorry if you know all this already! What version of DirectX are you using? (START>RUN>DXDIAG>OK - you will see it on the popup screen) Chris On 8/2/05, Efraim Yawitz <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > I think the computer should be fast enough: It has a Celeron 2.4G CPU and > 256M RAM. > > > > _______________________________________________ > Flightgear-users mailing list > [email protected] > http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users > 2f585eeea02e2c79d7b1d8c4963bae2d > -- Chris Ridley OnCall Solutions Onsite Technology Solutions [EMAIL PROTECTED] 800-492-7459 --------------------------------------------------------- FIGHT TERRORISM WITH YOUR BARE HANDS www.citizenwarrior.com _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list [email protected] http://mail.flightgear.org/mailman/listinfo/flightgear-users 2f585eeea02e2c79d7b1d8c4963bae2d
