Hi Patrick,

The problem is with your video card which is an integrated video
adapter (the chip is on the motherboard). I do not believe it
supports T&L or Direct 3d. Though the Intel IGP does not support T&L
either, I have had much better luck in getting Flightgear to run on
the Intel IGP than on VIA's.

I saw a lot of posts where some games just will not run on this video chipset.

If I remember right, you can increase the memory allocated to video to
64MB, but I honestly do not think this will help.

Can you do this: Start > Run > type "dxdiag", click OK

Wait for it to finish scanning.

Click on the Display tab

Look at the section DirectX features - are Direct Draw, Direct3d and
AGP Texture enabled?

You can test each of them by clicking the test button next to each.

My suggestion is to invest in an Nvidia GeForce graphics card. Check
the system requirements at http://flightgear.org/hardwarereq.html.
You should be able to get one for less than $100 USD that will do the
job. You need to open up your PC case and see whether you have an AGP
slot or if you will have to go with a PCI video card.
