If there's an F16-specific autopilot for flightgear, could you
please let me
know where I could get it?
I've been using the generic autopilot without a great deal of success,
obviously.
The work I am involved in requires a JSBSim aircraft like the F16.
Unfortunately, YaSim doesn't provide the parameters required,
although there
is a YaSim aircraft (YF-23) that does have dedicated autopilot.
JSBSim flight control components were designed specifically to meet the
requirements of the Block 40 Digital Flight Control System. I'm not sure
all
the items needed for the terrain following logic (LANTIRN) are there, but
the various autopilot modes ought to be possible. If you need lots of
flexibility over building blocks, etc., you might try the JSBSim flight
control components.
Do you have a specific F-16 need - a particular block number?

I have no preference to block number, I just need an autopilot which
will be more stable that the generic one I'm using.
