hi
i prefer to setup 2 pc's, one running matlab, and the other running
flightgear.
Obviously both pc's will have network cards.
-in netork settings of each pc, make sure both belong to the same
subnet mask, and the first 3 fields of the ip address are the same.
-execute matlab and open the model file that has a flightgear
interface.
-edit the flightgear interface by double clicking it, and in place of
host name, type the ip address of the machine where flightgear will
execute.
-execute the simulink model.(at this point an error might occur, as
matlab may not find the wmm coefficients file. If so, then give the
path of the directory where wmm.cof resides)
-pause the simulation and try to execute flightgear on the other pc,
as per the syntax given in the .pdf file that comes with Aerosim, BUT
REMEMBER to include the " " whenever a new field is mentioned, like :
"--aircraft=x24b-yasim" (e.g)
initially the plane will be on the runway, once simulation of model is
started, the plane will be in flight, and the parameters of the model
can be changed, such as the bank angle, quite impressive!
hope this helps.
regards
rashid
