About rivers and others city size i have the same difficulties
surrounding "Mont Ventoux" (not so far from Montpellier) rivers are
sometime instead of road and roads instead of rivers, rivers climb
and ride on mountains, cities are missing.
I think we cannot ask for a high detailed (spy quality) scenery.
However we have a rather good definition about elevations, the
mountains, hills, and valley are there.

Many thanks for your help , that will make flying more fun if I can see
where I am going.
It's true, the terrain data works quite well. I had the impression that
there was some road and river data included as well but if it all have to
be "painted" in by hand then it's going to be pretty sparse for most of
the world outside S.F. Bay .
I presume the NASA satalite date is correctly mapped but I dont know where
the rivers come from. Maybe I need to post some qu.s on TerraGear-devel as
you suggest.
