Hi,

I am wondering where in the property tree on might find positions and headings of the aircrafts received from the multiplayer server. I was thinking that it would be fun to have a key to cycle between the different multiple player planes in the world and be able to apply all the standard views to each of them. Of course, it will be somewhat limited since the update frequency is usually 10 Hz, and I assumed that none of instruments in the nonlocal planes will be functional.

I feel, however, that it would be fun to be able to tag along on someone else's flight (assuming you have the scenery for where they are flying :) ). I assume that this may be achieved through some tinkering with the views set up in preferences.xml. I was thinking along the lines of having a variable representing the aircraft currently in active view and let the already predefined views operate a relative to this variable.

I have never looked much into the workings of flightgear, so I don't know if it is possible or worthwhile to do this.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
