A while back I made some approach light scaffolds for runway 28R at KSFO, but found they hid the approach lights at night. Screenshot at:
http://home.comcast.net/~davidculp2/lights_day.jpg I've figured out the problem is that the runway elevation is about 13 feet too low. The landfill that KSFO is built upon is 13 feet above sea level (more or less), so there should be a 13 foot "cliff" where the runway overrun meets the water. To fix this would require scenery designing beyond my capabilities.
