It can't be, since you have to take off in the opposite direction that
you land. A one direction runway would have you landing *and* taking off
in the same direction. Or maybe not:

Lukla control: "Air Yak flight 1, you are cleared for departure on
runway 60, just make sure you do it backwards, there's a mountain range
at the end or it."
Air Yak: "Umm, I think I'll just use runway 24 if it's all ok. Happy to
land on runway 60 whe I come back though!"

Actually, It looks like it's marked going away from the mountain, and I
would assume that it is marked coming towards it as well, since landing
is when you really want to see those big markings.
