Hello: Well, I finally have been able to pick up a relatively unused Saitek 3D USB GOLD Joystick. Have spent some time downloading updated drivers and software for Windows XP and have now begun to be happy with the Helicopter. Now, how do I get the POV to function? I have used the profiler to set up how I want to use it for the Helicopter, but choosing the buttons, which are the same on my laptop, for the 8 views the control on the Joystick does not operate them, nor do the keys for the views work with the Joystick attached!
Second problem, is that the twist for the rudder works, but is sluggish and erratic in its control (not smooth). How do I loosen this up and have an easy control? I want to set up the Helicopter, before trying it out with fixed wing aircraft and other separate profiles.
