[Flightgear-users] Carrier question

When starting/landing on the Nimitz deck, the carrier gradually "slides" relative to the aircraft, causing the aircraft eventually to fall of the carrier deck. I tried to search the documentation and forums but did not find a current status of the carrier related to this feature. Is this still a known, current feature or is there something wrong with my configuration?

Thanks for the ansfer and for an amazingly great simulation! The helicopter experience in bo105 is just great!
