Hi Martin,
I used Map standalone and now I have all the PNG's for the scenery I have
downloaded I won't need to run Map again until I get more scenery. I don't
understand why you would want to launch Map from the FGFS command line.
As for running different FGFS command lines, I never (had) to do it, but if
you start up a dos command window and navigate to FGroot, you should be able
to start FGFS with any command line you want to.

Yes, I have been following your saga. Georg and I have been communicating
off list, but a few days ago he advised he has much on and had not
forgotten. I had expected him back for the weekend. In between this all has
gone sour with my FG. In FG wizard it is not possible to add in the Map
command line, only Atlas, it is why I have been using FGTools. Now there is
a problem with my FGTools and there was a connection with my problem.
The latest is that for the 3rd time today I have downloaded FG and still
with the same problem that it hangs. If I run FGFS straight from the
folder,
no problem, but you cannot change anything from this.
I do not have lots of time to waste and this past 4 days has been hell
here,
as these computers are used commercially, and the one good one for FG is
the
one that is causing the problem. They earn the company's funds and come
first. I have 3 days to fix this problem, or I have to scuttle FG for good,
as the last time when we tried to use a different platform the problem was
never solved and I have lost that option now. MSFS X, the latest version,
has been offered to me to test before it is launched this summer. Seems
like
an offer one cannot refuse, as it will be expensive when it does come on to
the market.
Anyhow, I'll keep trying for the next 3 days.
