[Flightgear-users] where to place .fgfsrc file.

Where do I put my .fgfsrc file. I use the Flightgear cvs version on Linux. I tried using this path> (/home/username/FlightGear-0.9/source/src/Main). But this did not work. This is what I have in the file> (./fgfs --fg-root=/home/username/FlightGear-0.9). So what is proper placement and what is proper syntax for file.
