I think those instructions are OBE (overtaken by events), and I'm nor sure if anyone has updated them. Here's how to do it. Make sure that you have the latest version of Cygwin/gcc and FreeGLUT Download and compile OpenAL and FreeAlut Download and compile PLIB-1.8.4 - not cvs - there are problems with the current HEAD version, I am led to believe Download and compile SimGear and FlightGear either cvs or -0.9.10, but both must be the same Do a 'make clean' before you start all this, and beware of old libs etc. hanging about from your earlier attempts to compile. You might have to make sure that libs are in the right place, or include paths are correct. It's time consuming, but I use it for my development work, although I also compile with MSVC8 for testing purposes.
