You should be able to find a 6600 class card in this price range.  I spent 
$109US including tax and shipping for a 6600 LE card with 256 meg of RAM in 
December.  At 1600x1200 with everything turned on in 0.9.10 I get about 35 
frames/sec sometimes more.  So I am very happy with my results in FlightGear 
with this card at this point in time.  

In general I agree that you should get the best nVidia card you can afford.  I 
had a 6200 card for a while and it only had about 1/3 the frame rate of the 
6600 card with the same settings.  The 6600 card does draw more power and 
generate more heat however.
