To save time you might as well start from Scotland.

Good choices include:
- Edinburgh (EGPH). Head NNW into the Highlands.
- Inverness (EGPE). Fly WSW down the Great Glen and Loch Ness to Fort
William and Ben Nevis.
- Kirkwall (EGPA). Fly the Orkney islands - lots of small airports.
