The latest driver doesn't build on the latest kernels or snapshots, so I posted to the unofficial forum and the problem was passed on to the Linux driver development team some days ago. However, I never got around to building and trying FlightGear on the Acer 1501LCe 64-bit laptop and Radeon 9600 when the ATI driver was working, something for when it works again. Also if I get time I shall build on the 64x2 with an on-board NVidia 128MB built-in graphics chip to see how it runs. Regards Sid. -- Sid Boyce ...
