Hi Sid,
if "I know jack about Linux" means "I know nothing about Linux" than it
is true regarding the "core" of Linux, all that structure, file-owner,
admin and console related stuff - one has to learn a lot.
But I noted happily that the KDE GUI and all these programs I am
familiar with from Win32 (OpenOffice, Firefox, Thunderbird, Gimp,
Blender, ..), YAST2 and the automatic online update service for OpenSuse
make starting with Linux more easy.
