The only difference between AI models and flyable models is. The AI models are usually much simpler and have no FDM as that is provided by the AI traffic system. Any of the AI models can be used as flyable models and vice versa.In fact any model can be used as any aircraft but I guess it would seem silly to have a 747 model representing a cessna. You can use any of the current flyable models as AI models just by giving the path to them in the traffic file. AI aircraft should be in the path Flightgear/data/aircraft/AI.
