Hi Ampere,

so, AC3D (our favorite file extension fopr creating wonderful things for
FG...), is a "Y" up program, but Flight Gear (the simulator...), is a "Z" up
world?

I have used 3dsmax for around 3 years off and on, with Maya being my most
used program (since Im a student learning it....), with GMax being a close
2nd out of the 3. Problem is FG onlay takes .ac files and GMax can only
xport to .mdl (with the MSFS 2004 plugin..), which makes it harder as I have
these programs on my system. At the end of the day I might have to "bite the
bullet" and purchase AC3D jsut to crete .ac files to use in FG.

As for the link, I have meet the developers in person (I used to work retail
and they said what they did for a job, I mentioned what I was studying and
they gave me the evaluation software on cd...), good stuff, a small leraning
curve involved but very powerful.

Slainte,

Andy
