The time in BIOS/system is not affected by fg. Use your operating system
preferred method of changing that, if that's what you need.

The time of day that you set from the menu affects the simulated time.
The "clock time" means that the simulated time is determined from your
system clock. Notice that if you live in London and start fg in San
Francisco (the default), your local time will differ from the simulated
local time. In other words, if you use the clock time, the sun
position as viewed out of your living room will match the simulated sun
position only if you start at a nearby airport.
