Do you mean that the in-simulation displayed time differs from the time
that your system displays? Or do you mean that you actually observe the
sunrise with a significant difference? Bear in mind that at the sunrise
the Sun position
relative to the actual skyline (angular distance above the highest
obstacle on the horison in the direction of the Sun) might be different
because the skyline in the virtual world
might not be precise; however, flightgear should correctly model the Sun
position on the sky sphere (azimuth/elevation angles).
