In the past, taxiing on static objects has worked quite well. You could even taxi along the lower level of the bay bridge (in the SFO area.) I haven't tried that in a long time, but I've seen some odd things around the bridges recently so perhaps this area needs to be revisited at some point after we have successfully cut over to OSG.
