I have several examples of the xmls required for tail draggers at; http://denemaxwell.dnsdojo.net/users/downloads/models/AI-model-xmls.zip They are designed for animated models so are referenced to the AI property tree. The offsets should be useful to you... just play with that section for centre of rotation and rotation angle and you'll have something that looks ok. Email me off line if you need a hand.
