Walter: In my experience, when I extract the aircraft compressed folders, the result usually is a folder with a somewhat long name, that includes the name of the aircraft and a version date (I guess). Inside this folder there is a folder with a short name (only the name of the aircraft). If that is the case also in your PC, I think you should take the "short name folder" and put it directly in the Aircraft folder.
In other words, this would change the path from (say).../Aircraft/Seahawk20050703/Seahawk/ to .../Aircraft/Seahawk/ And FG should present the Seahawk to you to select.
