acquiring the full scenery set... problem is they seem doubtful that the
Scenery is indeed under GPL ?? - As they cannot find any indication that
it is...
So my question really is: Is the full scenery under GPL and therefore
freely redistributable? Assuming it is, shouldn't it indicate so
somewhere on the site?
I hope I don't offend anyone for trying to get the scenery from a third
party...

Hi Daniel,
We've left this intentionally "ill defined". Each of our input data sets
has it's own terms of use, so basically what we've said is that as long as
we abide by those terms of use, we don't add or remove any restrictions
through our remixing of the data. Each of these data sets is freely
downloadable, and none of them has any commercial use restrictions.
