Is it possible to log lat. and lon. in FlightGear?
I could plot them using Google Earth, for example.

I'm not aware of a publicly available approach profile graphing tool. The
FAA certified ATC 710M includes this functionality and is largely based on
FlightGear, but the operator gui and plotting software is separate and not
open-sourced.
