Hi,

I'm just wondering if there are any people out there
running Flightgear on Kubuntu Linux. I've recently
started playing with it instead of my normal
distribution, Slackware. It makes most things very
easy and its the kind of Linux I can recommend to
people who aren't as in to computing as I am.

The one problem I've found so far is the Nvidia
drivers - which were dead easy to get running on
Slackware. I can download the package easily enough
using the Adept package manager, but what happens
after that? I've had a couple of goes at getting it
going, but each time I've managed to trash the X
configuration so badly that its been easier to simply
back up my home directory before doing a complete
re-install. So I'm hoping that someone here has a
foolproof method of making it work :-)

Thanks!

Paul
