Hi Paul , Im trying out Xubuntu , pretty nice , I like the Synaptic Package manager , but I have the same problem . Nvidia drivers are a breeze to set up on ArchLinux , but with this one Im stuck with version 8776 . I tried installing the latest via nvidia -installer from NVIDIA's site , and it works fine , but I have to rerun the installer every time I reboot. If I find the solution I'll let you know.
