Hi All
I am trying to build FG on Ubuntu 7.04 but it tells me I have no
gl library I have the following packages installed.
libgl1-mesa
libgl-mesa-dri
libglu1-mesa
libglu1-mesa-dev
I also have the Nvidia glx package installed and operating.I have
read that the Nvidia package maybe the reason there is no
gl library but not what the fix might be.
So if there is someone who has built FG on Ubuntu 7.04 that
might be able to see what the problem is or has a list of the
packages I need to build the build enviroment then that would
be great meanwhile I will see if I can nut it out.
I haven't seen anyone else reply yet so let me try to say a couple things.
1. I've never tried loading up ubuntu so factor that in to all this. :-)
2. With all the linux systems I've run, I've gone to the nvidia website,
fetched the latest linux drivers from there, and installed them.
3. If you install the nvidia drivers and still have problems, then look
closely at your config.log file. That will tell you the critical details of
why the gl test failed. You could be missing some other library or
dependency or any number of things that could make the test fail. The
config.log file tells all.

Curt.
