Hello. Recently I've noticed such an issue: If I turn "sky blend" off and try to start a flight, FG 0.9.10 loads everything and even the sound of the engine appears while the splash screen is displayed, then it just ends with a message in the command line promt window "unknown exception in the main loop".
If "sky blend" is on, everything loads and runs fine. My PC: P3 1000Mhz, 256mb RAM, ATi Radeon 8500LE 64mb. FG settings: I use the official 0.9.10 release with all the graphics effects on, except for 3D-clouds.
