I just upgraded my machine to new MB, Processor, Mem, and VId card.
I was all excited to get everything up and running with the new
Hardware and try out FightGear. Bummer!!!!

I bought a new 'AMD 64 dual core athlon X2' 4600 procoessor. The
problem I ran into is that while FLightGear is running the processor
will switch it back and forth between cores. Not a quick switch but
more like it runs awhile on this one then swaps over to that one.
When it makes this swap Flight Gear freezes on the screen. SOmetimes
it will just stop for awhile and sit there then start back up again.

This of course is very agrivating. I sent an Email to AMD but
haven't received an answer back from them.

I was hoping someone else may have run into this and knows a cure.
Actually I'm not hoping anyone else has this problem, I'm just
hoping for a cure. <:)

Thanks for any help. Here's the particulars of the machine and OS:

Asus MB
THe above mentioned processor with 2.4 gig freq. Not OC'd
2 gig ram
Nvidia 7600 gs Vid card.

OS:
I upgraded to the latest version of Slackware with the Hardware
upgrade;

Slack 12.0
Linux version 2.6.21.5-smp kernel.

Thanks for any info.
