Hi All, I've finally managed to visit the National Soaring Museum at Harris Hill (www.soaringmuseum.org). One of the highlights for me was finally seeing a Minimoa in real life - shame its not flying, but its still a beautiful aircraft.
Turns out that they have a modified Flightgear system there, but unfortunately it wasn't working while I was there - in fact it looks like it may not have been working for a while, as all the cables were disconnected. The system was used to simulate a Schweizer 1-26 using the original aircraft controls. I have pictures of the system. I'll put these up on a web site hopefully when I get back to the UK sometime in early September. Oh, and after about 8 or 9 years I finally got to up in a glider - an ASK-21. Felt very rusty, but it was nice to up in a real aircraft again :-) Best Regards, Paul ~~~~~ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Flightgear-users mailing list Flightgear-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/flightgear-users
