FGFS will work out of the box, but the default fov (80?)
The default FOV is 60 degrees horizontal and you are right when using a multihead setup the default field of view is much too narrow. I am now running 0.9.11-pre1 and for some reason --fov=120 or whatever does not work anymore. But I just change it once the sim is running using shift x. So not a big deal. So now there are two of us that have confirmed that doing this sort of thing on an X11 machine is very straight forward. Running FG on a setup like this is sweet and easy to do. Give it a try. The one, admittedly minor, issue I have with this setup is that the projection used by FG (actually this is probably an OpenGL thing) appears to be equirectangular. This means that the displays must be all in the same plane for the perspective to be correct. It would be a great feature if the user could specify some other projection such as cylindrical or spherical which would allow the displays to be arranged around the pilot instead on in front of the pilot. > is not convenient - 116 works better for me.
