Actually, I didn't quite say that. I said I turned it off in JSBSim CVS, and that you could maybe turn it off in the FlightGear version, and that I am collecting references to improve in JSBSim what was an experimental feature. I don't know anything about how YASim models turbulence, and I'm sure it's nice and well done, and I may take a look. But first of all I am gathering references and ideas from friends and acquaintances I know who have worked in the simulation industry for years (in some cases decades). I'm not setting out to specifically "match" how YASim does it, only to try and do it the "right" way (from my perspective). We may well end up with similar results, but different or similar approaches. We'll see.
