Install the nvidia drivers, still the same.

unpluged joystick, still the same.
unpluged joystick, rebooted, and WE HAVE A WINNER :).

the error is with the joystick?
now why? The joystick is a Logitech Force 3D Pro. I have had it working 
in my old pc with flight gear 9.10.
